If a manager is attempting to create a new objective for an employee in their team, but doesn't have the options, there are two potential reasons:

  • The incorrect manager is assigned to the employee in the objective cycle.

  • The incorrect manager is assigned to the employee in their review.

To resolve this, follow the steps in each section below.

Check the objective cycle

  1. From the dashboard menu, click Talent Dashboard.

  2. Click the Objective Cycles tab.

  3. Next to the relevant objective cycle, click the three-dot menu.

  4. Select Admin Tools then click the Change Employee's Manager tab.

  5. Search for the relevant employee.

  6. Under New Manager, select the correct manager.

πŸ€“Tip: Even if the correct manager appears here, to refresh the data, we recommend you re-select the manager.

  7. Click SAVE.

Refresh the employee's review

  1. From the dashboard menu, click Talent Dashboard.

  2. Click the Reviews/Appraisals tab.

  3. Next to the relevant review, click the three-dot menu.

  4. Select Admin Options then click the Change Employee Manager tab.

  5. Search for the relevant employee.

  6. Under New Manager, select the correct manager.

πŸ€“Tip: Even if the correct manager appears here, to refresh the data, we recommend you re-select the manager.

  7. Click SAVE.
