Unable to add a new objective

An employee is unable to create a new objective.

In an employee is attempting to add a new objective but is unable to, or they've created one but it won't save, this is usually because the objective cycle isn't selected for the objectives in question.

To resolve this, follow the steps below.

  1. From the dashboard menu, click Talent Dashboard.

  2. Click the Appraisals tab.

  3. Next to the relevant objective, click the three-dot menu.

  4. Select Edit then, when the warning pop-up appears, click Yes.

  5. Next to the relevant objective, click the three-dot menu.

  6. Select Edit then, from the drop-down menu, select the objective cycle.

  7. Click Save.
