Unable to change the stage dates in a cloned review

Update the stage dates of a cloned review or appraisal, after setting the range dates for the next year.

When you clone a review or appraisal and want to update the dates for a new year or period, PeopleXD won’t let you change the stage dates unless the main review dates are aligned first. To resolve this, you need to adjust the dates in a specific order.

The review is already cloned

If the review you cloned already has its date range moved into the new year, but the stage dates are stuck, follow the steps below.

  1. In Edit Details, change the Review Start Date back to its original date.

  2. Extend the Stage End Date forward into the new year.

  3. Update the Stage Start Date so it also moves into the new year.

  4. Move the Review Start Date forward again into the correct year.

The review hasn't been cloned

If you haven't cloned the review into the new year yet, or to avoid any issues in future years, we recommend you complete the process in the following order:

  1. Extend the Review End Date into the new year.

  2. Extend the Stage End Date into the new year.

  3. Move the Stage Start Date into the new year.

  4. Update the Review Start Date to the new year.
